Completing this endeavor opens up a sealed ruin filled with high-tier rewards, unique artifacts, and valuable lore.
Unlocking the Nine Pillars of Peace Quest
To initiate this quest, travelers must journey to Cuijue Slope in the region of Liyue. Inspecting the glowing stone tablet situated in the middle of the valley activates the questline. Understanding the requirements early helps players plan their exploration efficiently throughout Liyue.
The primary prerequisite for unlocking the ruin is collecting nine Stones of Remembrance. These rare items are granted every time you upgrade the Statues of the Seven in Liyue to higher levels. Consequently, players must search for Geoculus offerings scattered across the entire nation before proceeding.
Activating the Pillars and Opening the Ruin Gate
Once you have gathered all nine Stones of Remembrance, return to the valley in Cuijue Slope. Nine massive stone pillars surround the central area, each featuring a glowing carving on its surface. Climbing each pillar allows you to insert a stone directly into the central face-like structure.
Inserting a stone into a pillar triggers a small explosion and unlocks a chest at the base. After all nine pillars are fully activated, the sealed entrance to the central underground ruin will open. Make sure your party is fully prepared with supportive food and strong elemental team compositions before entering.
Confronting the Ruin Monsters Inside the Chamber
Inside the ruin, players face three intense waves of enemies guarding the ancient treasure chamber. The first wave pits you against a solitary Ruin Guard, followed by two energetic Geovishap Hatchlings. The final encounter forces you to duel a powerful Ruin Hunter while dodging hazardous arena traps.
During combat, special Infusion Stones will periodically appear to empower the active enemies. Destroying these elemental buff stones immediately reduces the monsters' defense and damage output. Bringing ranged bow users or claymore characters makes destroying these nodes much easier during fast-paced fights.
Claiming Valuable Rewards and Selling the Dull Ring
Defeating all enemy waves unlocks the inner vault containing a Luxurious Chest and a Precious Chest. Inside these chests, players receive valuable materials alongside a guaranteed five-star Royal Flora artifact. You will also obtain a special relic known as the Dull Ring.
To finish the quest line, take the Dull Ring back to Liyue Harbor to sell it to an antique merchant. You can choose to trade with Linlang at Xigu Antiques or Bolai at Wanyou Boutique. Both vendors offer substantial Mora amounts, allowing you to wrap up this epic Liyue adventure with massive profit.
