Crossplay in 7 Days to Die connects modern platforms, specifically PC (Steam, Epic, and Microsoft Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Older console releases on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are legacy builds running on a different codebase and cannot participate in cross-platform sessions.

To join shared sessions, every player must update their game to the same official release version. Additionally, players must enable the crossplay option within the main menu settings to allow connection to cross-platform worlds.

How Crossplay Server Hosting Works
